The social thinkers of the 1920s were typically the people with an affiliation to politics and/or the economy. This ranges anywhere from the four presidents of the Roaring Twenties (mentioned in important people) to Charles Mitchell, a banker who invested 25 million dollars to stop the financial panic and stock market decline.
Philosophers
The philosophers of the 1920s were mainly the mathematicians and scientists of the decade. The ones most well known of these individuals are Albert Einstein, Robert Andrews Millikan, and Oswald Veblen.
Political Activists
The political activists of the 1920s were the females in society. They fought for more personal liberties, as well as the right to vote. This step towards a more just society with equal gender roles continues today, but could not have started without the women of the 1920s.
